I set up a meeting with Joy to learn about different carriers and find one that would be appropriate to carry around my 6 month old in Japan (not the easiest place for strollers!). She was so helpful and knowledgeable with different styles and materials, and even brought out a couple of types of carrier I didn't even know existed!
In the end I rented two fantastic soft mesh carriers from her for my trip, but I also learned a lot about other brands and types that will be good for my day-to-day life. Such a worthwhile appointment; thank you for your help Joy!

I was given advice about a lightweight sling after seeing a sling I liked the look of on her Instagram page. She ordered and posted it to me and gave advice re. Fit and use. I wouldn’t have know this sling existed/was recommended without her.

She explained everything at exactly the right level for sleep deprived parents of a newborn and a toddler! We now have a carrier that works for both of us and feel more confident using it too. I rented two different carriers from Joy for our 8 month old! We’re going on holiday, and I needed a carrier for my 11kg baby to comfortably sleep on the flight! I also needed something I can dance with him at a wedding! Ended up renting two carriers. Joy also showed me how to discreetly breastfeed in the carrier which is priceless knowledge! So grateful to have had Joy's expertise in finding the right carrier. She was very knowledgeable about different types, and gave us an excellent suggestion which we first hired from her, then ended up buying. Our baby loves being in the sling, and Joy was excellent at giving us the confidence and the knowledge of how to use it comfortably and safely.

Joy was extremely helpful, friendly and informative - the appointment took place in a very cosy little building with a woodburner, hot drinks and a swivelling recliner for my baby when she needed to decompress. Very relaxing surroundings and a very short walk from my car to the door - you won't need a pram. There are a few wooden steps up with a handrail. There were a range of different types of slings to choose from and a full-length mirror to see what i was doing, plus a very comfy sofa for my mum who was accompanying me.

If your satnav/phone map tells you to go straight on down the tarmac road through the green metal gate with an equine stud building on the left, you must turn right instead before you go through them, and follow the bumpy road along.

Joy was absolutely fantastic - she is very knowledgeable about how to get the best out of each sling or carrier. We were able to hire a sling which has quickly become our new favourite and have since bought one ourselves, so being able to try before you buy is super helpful. Joy was also very friendly and hospitable. Thank you!

Thank goodness for this service! As a first time mum of a 9 month old, I have purchased 3 different carriers, all of which turned out to be wrong for us in some kind of way. So with money lost + a-lot of frustration, I found Joy and learned about baby wearing consultations. She showed us multiple carriers, discussed them at length, and I got to try on the ones that felt suitable to our requirements.
The riverside setting is beautiful, Joy’s knowledge is priceless and best of all we finally found a carrier that I absolutely love. I then rented the carrier for 2 weeks to make sure it was right - which was SO helpful!!
All in all, a wonderful experience and worth its weight in gold as a first time mumma, thanks Joy!!
